A conventional fire system uses a series of call points and detectors that are connected to the main fire system panel by a wire. When a detector is triggered, the fire system panel will trigger the sounders for a full evacuation.

As conventional fire systems are often known as an entry level system, they're more suitable for smaller offices, shops or properties where safety concerns are not as complicated.
