At the end of 2013, Legal & General posted an article revealing that 45% of young people are posting photographs of their valued possessions onto social media sites on the internet.
Those same young people regularly 'check in' at their favourite haunts and this message is reported on their timeline on Facebook.
And 51% of a group surveyed by Legal & General had made friends or connected with someone they did not know on social media.
