For several years Spy Alarms have been maintaining the stadium security systems for Charlton Athletic Football Club in South London.
So it was a great pleasure to get to sponsor a recent match against Huddersfield a year after sponsoring a game against Wolves.
Last time we were treated to a thrilling game of two halves which ended in a 1-1 draw, would this year be our winner?
The Match
Huddersfield kicked the match into life 10 minutes in when Harry Bunn's volley bounced over Charlton's keeper, Nick Pope, straight into the roof of the home team's goal.
Two yellow cards and twenty minutes later, Huddersfield netted another after Charlton's Naby Sarr conceded a free kick within shooting range. Emyr Huws left footed shot to the bottom left corner of the goal was a welcome sight to a team only 1 point off the bottom of the table.
But, it took just 6 minutes for Charlton's Naby Sarr to redeem his conceded free kick, heading in a Johann Berg Gudmundsson cross from the centre of the box.
Despite thirty shots between the two teams, the game ended without a goal in the second half and the visitors went away with a 2 - 1 victory, putting an end to their disappointing streak of seven games without a win.
With 65% possession, perhaps Charlton deserved more.

What We Do: Stadium Security
We enjoyed our day out immensely, so we want to say a huge thank you to Charlton Athletic Football Club!
We've built a good relationship working with Charlton over the last few years, here's what Mick Everett from the club had to say about us:
The service we receive from Spy is excellent. Also on home match days they send an engineer to deal with any problems that may occur.
Whenever we have had to contact their office, we have found them to be helpful, polite, and efficient. All in all we are very happy with the service that Spy supply to us.

Spy Alarms supply and install security systems for all types of venues within London - not just stadium security.
Fire Alarms and CCTV can protect both the players and the crowd, whilst our burglar alarm systems can keep any buildings secure from intruders when the club is not in use.
We're forever expanding and improving our services so that we can give you the best protection possible.
What We Do: Fans
As well as being a great month for football, November is also statistically the worst month of the year for burglaries.
Fans who worry about their homes while they're at the game can take advantage of our CCTV systems that let you watch the house when you're out and about.
Or our integrated burglary and fire alarm systems which can be monitored 24/7 for your complete peace of mind!
Whatever your home or business security needs, if you have a question about our services don't hesitate to send us a message in the box below or give us a call on 01689 887 626.
